The Forbidden Fruit

It all started on my birthday with a Lindt,
What was in store we didn't have a hint.

 Our talks went longer than we ever thought,
Be it on Skype or mobile, we just didn't stop.

 From sharing office gossips to discussing our history,
How we came so close is still a mystery.

 Did our wavelengths match, or was it the frequency,
Or the product of both was responsible for this delinquency.

Spaces between us kept on shrinking,
We started holding hands without even thinking.

Her cute voice sounded like wind chime,
I wanted to hear its music all the time.

 From movies to dinner to coffee dates,
It unlocked all the forbidden gates.

 Then began a voyage of desire,
With heat in air and feelings on fire.

 This desire started taking me to her place,
Only in each other's arms, we found solace.

 Our journey went from the couch to the bed,
Couldn't control despite knowing what's ahead.

 From tight hugs to long kisses,
We kept on fulfilling all our wishes.

 Those beautiful days and romantic nights,
Just full of intense love and no fights.

 She used to cook for me so many time,
I would just come and hug her from behind.

 Together we would watch movies in our lappy,
Just holding each other's hands would make us so happy.

 Most of the time I would stay at her place,
It had become our cozy romantic little space.

 From shopping together to riding boat to trying local wine,
All those beautiful moments would last a lifetime.

 Cherishing every second of life we shared,
Everything ceased as just for each other we cared.
